Gorgeous French antique porcelain GDA Limoges pink roses cake plate with green and gold details. Use this cake plate to elegantly display cakes, cookies, or an assortment of bite-sized sweet treats.

GDA was a factory in Limoges, France that produced specifically for the export market to the US from France.

The GD stands for E. Gerard et Dufraiuseix. The A stands for Abbott, the importer and distributor for these wares in NYC. GD bought Charles Haviland around 1882 and added A in 1901. The mark was used until 1941. Thus, this dessert tray was made between 1901 and 1941.

  • GDA Limoges pink roses cake plate measures 30 cm (11.8 inches)
  • Stamped: GDA France
  • Very good condition, three small indentions pictured

CARE: We recommend washing this GDA Limoges pink roses cake plate by hand because of the gold detailing. Use a mild detergent in warm water. If you don't plan on doing the dishes immediately, give your plates a quick rinse to remove as much food as possible. It's best to rinse your dishes rather than let pieces sit too long in soapy water.
